London
CRI has experienced rapid growth in London and is now a major provider of social care services to adults and young people in 17 London Boroughs.
Our core services are concerned with the treatment and care of vulnerable service users with complex needs ranging from homelessness to drug and alcohol misuse and mental and physical health problems. We are particularly skilled at working with people who are chonically socially excluded and are sensitive to the needs of those from different cultural backgrounds.
We work in varied settings including treatment centres, police stations, courts and prisons, and take our services out into local communities to those in need.
Our services include:
- Open Access and Structured Day Programmes; specialist prescribing; needle exchange; and harm minimisation.
- DIP services; prison-based substance misuse programmes; aftercare for those leaving prison; and work with Priority and Persistent Offenders.
- outreach work with street populations and work with local communities to improve community safety.
We prioritise the involvement of volunteers and run a popular peer mentor programme for former service users.
