David Gregson (Chairman) is part-time Chair of private equity firm Phoenix Equity Partners. Mr Gregson is a Director of Letts Filofax and the Olympic Park Legacy Company; and Chair of both Abel & Cole and Precise Media Group. David is also a Trustee of both WWF-UK and The Climate Group and a member of the Advisory Board of The Sutton Trust.
Vice Chair - Nicholas Reeves BA, MIEM, ACMI is the Principal Director of an executive management development consultancy specialising in organisational, team, personal learning and development for senior executives together with coaching. Nick advises organisations on risk assessment, contingency planning and critical incident management. Before becoming independent he spent over 30 years in the public sector holding numerous senior appointments, the last as Associate Director at the Leadership Academy for Policing, delivering senior and strategic leadership programmes.
Sir David Calvert-Smith is a High Court judge and is currently one of the presiding judges of the South Eastern Circuit. He was called to the bar in 1969 and has been involved with criminal law ever since. From 1998 to 2003 he was DPP and Head of the Crown Prosecution Service. In 2004-5, he headed the Commission for Racial Equality’s Formal Investigation into the Police Service of England & Wales.
Paul Fallon retired in 2007 following a 35-year career in Social Services. His final post was Director of Social Services and Head of Children and Families Services for the London Borough of Barnet. As chair of the ADSS's Children and Families Policy Committee (2005-2007) he advised government on policy and legislation. Paul now provides management consultancy to local authorities and has helped establish the National Academy for Parenting Practitioners. He is a non-executive director of Pathway Care and the independent chair of the Safeguarding Children's Board for Essex.

Nigel Fisher MA MPhil MB BS MRCPsych is a doctor and psychiatrist by profession and has worked as a medical director and chief executive in a London mental health trust. He is currently a senior advisor in the Department of Health.

Moira Nangle has her own Organisation Development consultancy working primarily in the areas of talent and leadership, coaching, customer service and turning strategy into action. Until 2008 she was director of organisational development at Virgin Atlantic Airways. She has qualifications in training, teaching and organisational behaviour and management experience in both the commercial and voluntary sectors.
Chris Newell is a barrister and prosecuting lawyer. He is currently Principal Legal Advisor to the Director of Public Prosecutions. His career also includes two secondments to the Attorney General’s Office. He is a trustee of two other charitable organisations.
Lyn Salisbury a former Director of Government Communication, spent most of her career delivering communications for the Government. She now teaches communications as an associate member of the National School of Government and for other providers. She is also an elected council member for Southampton University Hospital Trust, on which she represents the rest of the world! As well as being a Trustee for CRI Lyn is also a trustee of Trinity Winchester.
Varinder Singh FCA, FCCA is a fellow of the ICAEW and also of the ACCA. He was a partner in a professional accountancy practice. He had also spent fourteen years in industry as finance director of a group of private companies. His professional and commercial experience includes management, auditing and accountancy, taxation, Inland Revenue investigations, share valuations, forensic accounting and due diligence work. He has also had extensive experience in commercial litigation.
Jacob West BA (Hons), MPP is the Deputy Director at the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit. Jacob has worked at the Strategy Unit for over five years on a range of high profile public service reforms, in particular in health, criminal justice and education policy. For the last two years he has been lead advisor on health policy to Number 10. In 2006 he was seconded to the Premier’s Office in Queensland, Australia for six months to help develop a public health strategy for the State. Prior to this, Jacob worked as a public sector consultant in the United States, and was a senior policy adviser in two UK government departments. He has a BA from Oxford and a Masters in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley

Deborah Bedford JP was a member of the Board of Visitors at Lewes Prison and is a lay member of the General Nursing Council.
David Bowerman JP DL CBE was High Sheriff of West Sussex in 1990/1991, and has been Deputy Lieutenant of West Sussex since 1992. He is a Justice of the Peace and founding member of SARO, a member of the board of Ford open prison, Chairman of the West Sussex Probation Committee and a strong supporter of several charities.
Brian Higgins JP is an engineer, business management advisor, magistrate, Chairman of Southern Horizon Housing Ltd., Horizon Housing Group board member, and a Governor of Park College.
Tess Hobbs was on the Independent Monitoring Board of HMP Wormwood Scrubs and is currently a trainee solicitor at a 'magic circle' law firm.
Pravin Kapadia is a management accountant. He has a background in industry, local government and working with voluntary organisations. He is also a trustee and board member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Ernie Poku is an engineer with a background in international business and has been Secretary of the Sainsbury Management Fellows' Society.
Kevin Smyth (Hon. Solicitor) is a senior partner in a long-established Brighton-based solicitors practice, a practising and registered CEDR accredited Commercial Mediator and Chairman of Governors of Worth School.
Robin Townsend is a former Board member of the Hampshire Association for the Care and Resettlement of Offenders (HACRO) and is a practising criminal lawyer.
Patricia Wyatt is a lawyer with several years’ experience working for Justice, the group which pursued miscarriages of justice cases.
