Who we are

The Arundel Street Project is the open access drug service for anyone over 18 years old, living in Sheffield.  We are free and confidential.

What we do

Arundel Street Project offers:

Drop-in sessions every afternoon
One-to-one sessions to understand your drug use and recovery
Needle exchange
Sexual health advice, and condoms
Specialist steroid support
Harm reduction services
Appointments at convenient locations
Nurse clinics
Complementary therapies
Specialist benefits advice

Juice Clinic – free blood and liver function tests, cholesterol check, injecting equipment and advice. Fortnightly from Wednesday 27^th February 2013

We are able to refer to specialised drug treatment providers and a range of other services to help you make positive changes.

We have staff who can speak English, Urdu, Punjabi, Mipuri and Hindi.  We can book an interpreter for pre-arranged appointments.

You may also be referred, or ask to be referred by your family or by any voluntary or statutory agency, such as your doctor or social worker.

Alternatively, the ‘Arundel on the Move’ van is a mobile recovery service, offering a needle exchange and Harm Reduction service in your local area.  Please all for further details.

 

Further information

Arundel Street Project is funded by Sheffield Drug and Alcohol Action Team to provide an Open Access (Tier 2) service as the gateway to drug treatment.  We also offer Other Structured Interventions (Tier 3).

We can provide Drug Awareness training to local services and community groups, which can be tailored to meet your needs- eg Khat awareness.
