Atlantic House Recovery Project provides structured treatment and open access support creating multi-layered RECOVERY opportunities.
We provide one-to-one sessions, team sessions, medically assisted recovery, and a complete support package to enable service users to break free from harmful patterns of behaviour. We support and promote recovery, complete freedom from drug-related harm, whilst continuing to provide pre-recovery interventions such as needle exchange and harm reduction guidance.
Atlantic House also hosts the Recovery day programme that really teaches and supports the HOW, when it comes to changing a life and keeping the change.
Atlantic House Recovery project provides open access/drop in facilities and services. A non threatening, safe place where service users can come and make enquiries about services, get advice about drug use.
We also have shower facility for those without access to hot water.
Open access provision meets service users where they are with an intention that they will move into structured treatment and embrace recovery.
The Recovery Induction Workshop is a pre-treatment session that sells the benefits of treatment and recovery as genuine and viable option. This is followed by triage assessment and a RECOVERY plan is created which may include a medically assisted recovery pathway for some service users.
Every service user has a named key worker who will co-ordinate the RECOVERY plan and liaise with partner organisations where necessary.
Key workers conduct one-to-one and team recovery themed sessions. Through induction, stabilisation and planned exit - we work to support service users through every phase of treatment, responding to the individual needs and key themes at each phase.
Treatment is much more dynamic and flowing - it is more encompassing of the different areas of life. Our focussed support enables people to build long lasting change in their lives, pro-actively supporting self help groups such as AA and NA and SMART recovery.
We are passionate about our service users success and create opportunities for service users to build upon their skills and expert knowledge through service user involvement and Recovery mentor programmes
CRI Atlantic House works with Progress to Work, Job Centre Plus, Tenancy sustainment, Aquarius and Dudley CVS to assist our service users to build and rebuild recovery resources such as training, employment and volunteering.
We engage service users in safeguarding principles through assessment, ongoing review and service user forums.
We work with the police, probation, health and social services to support and create safer communities and healthier lives for people in the borough of Dudley
