DIP Greenwich

Who we are

The Drug Interventions Programme (DIP) in Greenwich provides an integrated service and flexible pathway towards recovery for service users. The Greenwich DIP service is delivered by a combination of DIP workers and reducing reoffending case managers (IOM) all employed by CRI, offering treatment and care services to drug and alcohol users who are involved in the criminal justice system.

We also work in close partnership with the CRI Greenwich ASPIRE treatment service, CDP Blenheim Linx service, Royal Greenwich Housing Team (MOST), Oxleas Mental Health Trust, Greenwich Probation Service, Metropolitan Police and local prisons HMP Belmarsh, HMP Thameside and HMP ISIS.

The service offers an integrated end-to-end support service, with enhanced pathways to engage service users and move them into treatment and wraparound services away from drug and alcohol use and crime. We have a proven track record in supporting our service users to reduce their reoffending.

We work across multiple operational sites including:

  • Plumstead Police Station
  • Bexleyheath Magistrates’ Court
  • Woolwich DIP office
  • tier 3 treatment providers in the borough
