DIP Recovery Worker - Leatherhead

Surrey DIP

Reference: MP345

£21,145 - £24,817 plus R&R allowance of £1,836 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week


CRI in partnership with Surrey DAAT have an exciting opportunity to work within the Surrey DIP team.

The DIP aims to reduce drug and alcohol related crime and improve the quality of life of offenders, their families and communities.

This will involve delivering front line engagement, assessment, referral services within police custody, courts and community settings. You will offer brief and more intensive interventions using a recovery-focused approach to promote positive change in areas such as psychological, emotional, physical and social needs.

You will have a good understanding of substance misuse and the challenges this creates for our service users. Equally, you will have a sound understanding of recovery and have the skills and ability to support service users.

To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with DIP experience, you will deliver motivational work, be able to create a meaningful care plan and have excellent interpersonal skills.

The service will operate a staff rota that will include evening and weekend duties.

All applications for this post will be subject to an enhanced DBS clearance and enhanced security clearance by Surrey Police. The post holder will need to be a car user.
