CRI delivers the Drug Intervention Programme (DIP) which provides support to substance misusing offenders in Medway. The DIP service encourages and assists individuals to access effective treatment and other relevant services to reduce their substance misuse and offending. The Medway DIP team works closely with Kent Police, Kent Probation, Prison establishments, local treatment providers and other local agencies.
The successful candidate will offer an Arrest Referral service in Medway Police and Court Cells to identify new clients into the service as well as offering DIP case management and drug testing for those engaging with the programme. The successful candidate will be expected to work across various locations, including offering an outreach service, throughout the Medway Towns.
Experience of working within a criminal justice setting and strong client engagement skills are essential for this role alongside the ability to form positive working relationships with team colleagues and partner agencies.
The successful candidate will need to hold a driving licence and have their own method of transport.
This post is subject to Enhanced DBS clearance and Kent Police Enhanced Security Vetting.
