An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit two new Recovery Workers in Milton Keynes. The successful candidates will be committed to taking a positive, holistic and empowering approach to case management and the delivery of a range of psychosocial interventions.
You will work with service users to initiate recovery from drug and/or alcohol dependence, enabling service users to build their own recovery capital and to support them to move into long term sustained recovery and social (re)integration.
You will achieve this by delivering a range of interventions both on a one to one basis and as part of the wider recovery team. You will work flexibly, demonstrating innovation in your approach to recovery and by working effectively with a range of local & partnership agencies.
The successful candidates will have relevant experience in the field of substance misuse, demonstrating the ability to manage a caseload, provide robust recovery (care) planning, facilitate comprehensive assessments, identify & manage risk, provide needle exchange provision and through the facilitation of a range of groupwork programmes and outreach working.
These posts will involve working some late evenings.
CRI are committed to ensuring the safeguarding and wellbeing of children and adults, and all applicants will be required to demonstrate understanding of and commitment to best safeguarding practice
