CRI are delivering an innovative integrated service providing a range of recovery focussed interventions to both drug and alcohol users across the Halton Borough. Halton Integrated Recovery Service is a fully offering rapid and open access to assessment and interventions for people experiencing issues with drugs and / or alcohol, promoting movement from addiction to independence. We are currently recruiting for a number of posts within the Halton service, these are exciting opportunities for motivated individuals to make a difference to the lives of individuals within Halton.
As an ex service user of drug or alcohol services your role will be to champion visible recovery providing support to service users and the wider community. In your role as Recovery Champion you will assist in navigating service users through service pathways and through treatment in a swift manner to enable substance and crime free lives by facilitating access to Personal – Social – Community Recovery Cultures. The Recovery Champion will provide support in the ongoing development of the Halton Recovery Community via advocacy, involvement and assertive linkage to Mutual Aid Groups.
CRI are committed to ensuring the safeguarding and wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults, and all applicants will be required to demonstrate understanding of and commitment to best safeguarding practice. The successful applicant will be required to under an enhanced DBS check.
