Volunteer
We are looking for volunteers to work alongside the team supporting them and our service users. They will recognize and understand the impact of drug use and offending upon service users, their families and the wider community.
The main duties will include:
- Supporting staff whilst on outreach.
- Covering non statutory duty appointments.
- Providing Information Days to service users on appropriate topics.
- Completing follow up telephone calls with service users who have been seen in custody.
- Caretaking caseloads whilst staff are on annual leave, where appropriate.
- Attempts to re-engage service users who are disengaged.
- Supporting the administrative team where necessary.
- To liaise and refer to other partner agencies.
- To research support agencies and set up appropriate referral pathways.
