Volunteer Recovery Assistant

Barking and Dagenham Community Alcohol Service

Reference: VOLL004
Hours: minimum 1 full day a week

CAS is a borough-wide alcohol recovery service working with people throughout their treatment journey; from engagement, through to treatment, and aftercare. CAS offers a wide range of interventions to Barking & Dagenham residents over the age of 18, their families and partners who are experiencing difficulties with alcohol use.

The Recovery Assistant will support service users through alcohol treatment by providing key work and care coordination as well as group work, as well as providing occasional admin and operational support. This is a great opportunity to gain some experience in the field of health and social care and work within a supportive team who will coach you to learn new skills.
