Hours: Ideally two days per week (Mon-Fri; 15 hours approx)
RISE is a borough-wide drug and alcohol recovery service working with people throughout their treatment journey; from engagement, through to treatment, prescribing to aftercare. RISE offers a wide range of interventions to Ealing residents, over 18, their families and partners who are experiencing difficulties with drug or alcohol use. The Drug Intervention Programme (DIP) is part of the UK Government’s strategy for engagement substance misusing offenders into drug treatment.
The DIP Assistant will to support service users in all aspects of the DIP service and to support the DIP as a whole to achieve its targets to reduce substance related crime and disorder in the borough of Ealing. This exciting role will involve a variety of tasks and settings in the criminal justice setting including work based at courts and police stations, working with RISE clients at various stages in their recovery and criminal justice experiences.
