Who we are

Bournemouth Street Services Team is an Assertive Outreach team who work across the borough of Bournemouth to reduce Rough Sleeping and Anti Social Behavior. The team provides Assertive Outreach, needs assessments, access to Emergency Accommodation, Re Connection, advice and treatment referrals. The team work in a Multi Agency setting, along side the community and Dorset Police to address community safety issues and reduce the fear of crime.

Bournemouth Street Services Team is an assertive outreach team commissioned by Bournemouth Borough Council to reduce Rough Sleeping and offer services to those who are homeless in Bournemouth.<BR

We provide, a daily Assertive Outreach to those who are Street Homeless in the borough, staff operate a Drop In with referrals made to local Direct Access Hostels.  Return Home funding is available for anyone who is Non Local to Bournemouth, staff are available to organise accommodation and travel. The team make referrals to Drug and Alcohol services, Mental Heath Teams and the Local Authority Housing Team. We also work alongside the Local Authority and Dorset Police reducing the fear of Crime and Anti Social Behavior.
