Who we are

Our Pathways to Recovery offers advice and information; medical and psychological treatment and access to residential rehabilitation, including:

  • Health promotion
  • Needle exchange
  • Testing for blood borne viruses (BBVs)
  • Vaccinations for Hepatitis B
  • Medical interventions including methadone and buprenorphine prescribing
  • Community home detoxification
  • GP shared care
  • Action planning, care coordination and key work
  • Group work including relapse prevention
  • Referral and assessment for residential rehabilitation and detoxification
  • Drug Interventions Programme (DIP), supporting alcohol and substance users involved in the criminal justice system
  • Harm reduction and abstinence-based treatment
  • Life skills training

Next steps

If you want advice and support about your, or someone else’s, use of drugs or alcohol simply telephone your local Pathways. We have hubs across Worcestershire in Kidderminster, Redditch, Worcester, Malvern and Evesham. We also accept GP referrals with the consent of the client.

Further information

Worcestershire Pathways to Recovery welcomes volunteers from a range of backgrounds. Our volunteers make a real difference to the lives or our service users and vice versa. The opportunities are numerous, from cooking or gardening to IT or sports training or gaining experience for a future career; volunteering with CRI is what you make it.

You can give as little as a couple of hours a month.
Visit www.cri.org.uk/about/volunteers for more information.

We also have a number of peer mentors who are service users that have progressed through their recovery journeys and want to share their experiences with others who are at an earlier stage of recovery. We provide training for potential peer mentors to ensure that they are well-equipped to volunteer in this challenging and important role.
