What we do
Our services target many of the core social issues that adversely affect individuals and communities, including crime, anti social behaviour, substance misuse, domestic violence and lack of opportunity for young people.
Our focus is on crime prevention and on minimising the damage caused to individuals and communities by crime, substance misuse, anti-social behaviour and social deprivation.
We provide services to:
- street populations
- substance misusers
- offenders and ex-offenders
- families and communities
- young people at risk
- people experiencing domestic abuse
CRI works in both criminal justice and community settings providing integrated services in partnership with organisations in the statutory and independent sector including the police, probation, prison service, local authorities and health services.
We work in partnership with the enforcement agencies, local authorities, health services and the voluntary sector to provide a broad portfolio of services that address social care, community safety and criminal justice strategies.
We measure our success through:
- Reducing the incidence of crime and re-offending and lessening their impact on communities
- Reducing the levels of substance misuse and the harm caused by drugs
- Increasing the numbers of people living in stable accommodation and entering employment, education and training
