CRI celebrates Ten Years' of Investors in People

CRI has celebrated more than ten years' of Investors in People (IIP) status by attending a special event in London to mark the milestone. CRI was re-accredited in October 2010, its status having been reconfirmed every three years since first achieving the IIP management standard in 2000.

Staff have worked proactively across the years to demonstrate CRI's commitment to improving working practices and opportunities for employees as exemplified in the IIP standard.

Debbie McKeown, Director of HR at CRI, said: "We are very proud of this great achievement. CRI has grown significantly over the past ten years and having well-developed and effective employment standards in place during that time has helped us achieve our objectives. We continue to be committed to the principles of the IIP standard which have yielded great benefits to our organisation."

Kerry Brewer, CRI L&D officer, who attended the celebration event in London said: "IIP has been a great investment for CRI and has placed development of our workforce at the forefront. It also ensures that we regularly update and improve our systems and pursue innovative work practices."
