The Criminal Justice Interventions Service (CJIS) works with substance misusing offenders at all key points in the criminal justice system from arrest through to court appearances and resettlement from prison. The service provides a range of evidence based interventions designed to support offenders towards and through recovery, address offending behaviour and other related issues.

CJIS Volunteers are part of the CJIS Team that engage and support offenders by delivering a range of evidence based interventions including: assessment, care planning, advocacy, assertive outreach and engagement and structured 1-1 work.
