Alcohol Service, Camden
Camden Alcohol Service is a welcoming, open access service available for individuals who are experiencing difficulty with alcohol use or who are affected by alcohol use issues.
How will accessing Camden Alcohol Service benefit me?
We provide key work sessions, group work and complementary therapies. We can plan detoxification and funded treatments. We provide support and assistance in achieving your own personal goals. Individuals can self refer. The service is confidential and operates an equal opportunities policy.
You can:
Meet with experienced alcohol workers who can offer support and advice. Receive an assessment of your needs and explore the impact that alcohol may be having on your life. Get support to achieve a better way forward. Discuss the issues around alcohol use that may be causing you problems. Provide an assessment of your needs along with a care plan of action.
What happens once I engage?
A brief assessment of your needs is made and together we agree a plan for moving forward. You are assigned your own key worker who will support you and be your main contact whilst you engage at the service. You can access both individual and group services run at Camden Alcohol Service. You will receive regular one-to-one sessions with your key worker to review your progress and get individual support. You will have somewhere positive to go to, or call, that can react quickly to your needs.
