On Friday 28 August, CRI's Aspire Service in Peterborough will be opening their doors to promote International Overdose Awareness Day.
Events planned for the day include:
- demonstrations on how to recognise the signs and deal with an overdose;
- how to administer Naloxone - an anti-overdose drug;
- a 'preventing overdoses' quiz; and
- the opportunity to talk to a nurse, recovery worker or peer mentor about any concerns.
Light refreshments will also be available.
