Education and training

Our services are able to provide education and training on a wide range of topics related to substance misuse. You might want to learn more about substance misuse in your capacity as a health and social care professional, or raise awareness in your organisation of the risks around drugs and alcohol and how to prevent addiction.

We can also provide education and training around New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) or ‘legal highs’, which have caused a growing number of fatalities and are increasingly subject to law enforcement. To date, we’ve trained over 1,000 healthcare professionals in how to identify and treat different NPS, as well as working with the education sector to raise awareness of the risks of NPS amongst young people.
