CRI S2S is an Integrated Recovery Service in Northamptonshire. It provides rapid access to a range of interventions and treatment options for adults experiencing problems with drugs and/or alcohol, promoting a focus on recovery and independence. We are looking for a number of individuals to join our team; these roles provide an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and ongoing success of the Northamptonshire service, whilst making lasting changes to the local community. Individuals will need to be motivated, enthusiastic, committed and driven in order to meet the expectations of these challenging and rewarding roles.
As directed by the Team Leader and the Senior Practitioners the postholder will be partly based in police custody and be responsible for providing assessment and engagement of clients coming through the DIP and AAR processes as well as delivering intensive community outreach to address all outstanding support needs. The focus of all interventions will be:
To reduce substance related harm to the individual and wider community
To reduce reoffending by delivering specific offending behaviour interventions
To promote healthier life styles and increase service user choice
To promote and support individuals into both abstinence based and medically assisted forms of recovery
To provide effective case management and coordination of the individual’s treatment plan throughout criminal justice involvement
To promote carer and service user involvement
To identify service users with an interest in SUI and/or peer mentoring.
Support individuals to identify and access recovery capital within their own communities.
