Barking and Dagenham Community Alcohol Service

CRI's Barking and Dagenham Substance Misuse Recovery Service and Community Alcohol Service provide open access support and treatment for people with alcohol problems. Our aim is to help you identify the impact that alcohol may be having on your life and to develop the motivation and confidence to make positive changes.

What we do

We offer a range of support services including:

  • One-to-one advice, support and treatment
  • Key work sessions, counselling and complementary therapies
  • Medically assisted community detoxification, or referral to inpatient detoxification treatment
  • Structured day programme
  • Mental and physical health checks and advice
  • Psychological interventions
  • Carers’ assessments
  • Counselling sessions from our Families and Partners Support service for those affected by someone else's alcohol/drug use
