Safer communities, healthier lives

Brent Outreach and Engagement Team (BOET)

About the service

CRI offers a range of structured treatment in addition to the support, advice and referral options easily accessible by members of the Brent community.

Our outreach services work all across the borough both independently and in association with some of our partnership agencies. We often look to engage the community through formal events as well as targeting local areas in order to highlight what services are available to those in greatest need.

As well as our assertive street outreach, CRI can also support people in their homes and help them access additional services. Our structured work covers one-to-one sessions with a dedicated key worker, and can go on to offer various group work programmes; these include gender groups (both for women and men), crack intervention, relapse prevention and peer support sessions.

In addition, we also offer holistic options including acupuncture and cooking workshops. CRI is dedicated to offering support to clients that meets their needs. We run regular service user feedback forums to enable anyone accessing our services to tell us about their experiences in treatment and suggest service improvements.

Please note our staff speak a variety of languages including Somalian, Polish and Romanian

A warm Welcome from our Service Manager

Hello, and welcome to the Brent Outreach and Engagement Team. We work across the borough to provide residents with advice and support around substance misuse issues and can facilitate access into a wide range of treatment options. We’re a friendly team of experts who are dedicated to supporting anyone worried about their own or someone else’s relationship with alcohol or drugs. We are able to offer full assessments in order to devise a personalised care plan addressing individual need. We run a number of groups and workshops from our base in Harlesden, but also have satellites at various locations across the borough. All enquiries are treated as strictly confidential and we are able to conduct assessments in your home or another pre-arranged location if needed. Please make contact if you have any queries.
