CRI is a £135m social care and health charity working with individuals, families and communities across England and Wales that are affected by drugs, alcohol, crime, homelessness, domestic abuse, and antisocial behaviour. It works with 57,500 people every day, through a range of innovative projects delivered across local communities and in prisons.

CRI's next Chair will provide leadership, challenge and support to the whole organisation, ensuring its future success and overseeing its direction. CRI has doubled in size over the last 5 years and wishes to continue to grow by offering better services to more people in the coming years.

The next Chair will bring strong strategic abilities and a thorough understanding of governance, as well as chairing experience. The successful candidates for all roles will be able to demonstrate senior experience in one of the following areas: commercial; mental health, or; marketing and/or communications. They will demonstrate leadership abilities, ambition for the charity, and a real commitment to CRI's core values.
