Alcohol Detox Nurse - Peterborough - NM610

CRI has been providing drug services in Peterborough since 2009 and has recently been awarded a new contract to provide all drug and alcohol services for adults, young people and families. The new service goes live on the 1st April and whilst we were the previous providers of drug services in the City, the newly commissioned model is significantly different. CRI have been commissioned to provide locality based recovery co-ordination, unique in the Eastern Region. Our new model presents service users and their families with clearly defined pathways for nondependent and dependent drinkers, opiate and non-opiate users. These pathways and our recovery co-ordination models have been proven in other CRI services to increase recovery rates by providing a greater number of recovery focused interventions within communities which meet the specific needs of service users.

The alcohol recovery nurse will provide holistic alcohol support to adult service users to enter and move through the integrated substance and alcohol treatment. The service provision utilises the Foundations of Recovery Model and the post holder will provide Health and Well Being Clinics and Ambulatory Alcohol Detoxification Services fitting in with this.
