KC1817 - Criminal Justice Recovery Worker - Richmond

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual with excellent engagement skills to join the team in Richmond. We provide an accessible, local, high quality, integrated service that promotes recovery, health, wellbeing and self-efficacy. Offering greater choice and control over individual’s recovery and wider access to positive opportunities across the borough.

The role will involve assessment, recovery planning, group and key work to both alcohol and drug users.

In addition to a sound understanding and knowledge of evidence based drug and alcohol related issues and interventions, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a real passion and commitment to delivering services within a recovery and outcome focused environment to individuals who are subject to statutory court orders and to those accessing the service on a voluntary basis.

You will work with difficult and challenging clients who traditionally do not engage well into recovery services. Working along side our partners and using effective interventions you will ensure these clients have access to a structured treatment programme. You will work within community settings, actively engaging clients into our service.

Applicants will need to be dedicated to quality, able to work to tight deadlines and maintain and build close working partnerships with a range of service providers.
